Valerie visited the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the first time in 2006 to check out One-Man Star Wars Trilogy prior to working on its debut UK tour and was immediate hooked by the Fringe’s unique vibe and flood of creativity.

She returned to work there the following year and has not missed a Fringe since.

Valerie has worked on a wide variety of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe: Peter Duncan’s tour de force performance in his daughter’s play The Dame, the Russian String Orchestra (believed to be the first classical orchestra to perform at the Fringe!) and a performance of Swan Lake performed by 60 Chinese schoolchildren aged between 4 and 15, are just a few of the successful shows she has enjoyed promoting.

Valerie specialises in theatre, music and dance, but loves anything quirky—magic, puppetry, site-specific, physical theatre —bring it on!

Eszter works as a director, dramaturg and creative producer within the wider performing arts and festivals industry.

She has extensive experience working with theatre companies, arts festivals as well as individual artists on projects ranging from music theatre, circus, contemporary dance, magic, opera, puppetry, street theatre and new writing to Shakespeare.

She speaks a number of languages and has worked extensively across borders including in Hungary, Germany, Norway, the UK and China.

Eszter has worked on a variety of productions at the Edinburgh Fringe, including small scale theatre, mid-scale dance, popular magic shows and digital work, as well as large scale physical theatre productions.

Eszter absolutely loves her job and is always excited about meeting new artists and finding out about their work.
